3 Cities In One Day

Hello Hello!

I write this from the train. Public transportation is wonderful, and something the midwest doesn’t do very well. Can you believe that I’m going to be in three cities today!? It’s so freaking cool that the cities are so close together and so easy to get to up in the northeast.

Philly this morning –> Baltimore for approximately 6 hours –> NYC for the Kotex event.

I really really enjoyed Philadelphia. It helps that Pat, my good friend from college, is the most accommodating host ever. I got my own bedroom, a car to use, a gym pass, and a fridge stocked with Chobani. pat and clare

(I went searching for a pic of Pat and I and this is what I came up with – from our spring break cruise senior year of college!)

My interview went well (I hope!) and I really really loved the school. Turned out there was another girl from my class at Notre Dame interviewing the same day! It was lots of fun.

Pat showed me around PCOM (Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine) where he goes to school, and even taught me some of the more holistic stuff they learn! He was getting a little doctor/massage therapist/chiropractor on me telling me all kinds of things about my spine and hips and shoulders. Right up my ally. Last night we went to a great Italian place for dinner and caught up over a few beers, and this morning I was able to get in a quick Best Body Bootcamp workout before heading to the train station.

And now I’m enjoying the wifi and generous leg room on this Amtrak (trains > planes) on my way to Baltimore! I’ve got a tour, lunch, and interview then it’s back to the train station for the ride to NYC. Talk to you later!

  • Have you ever taken the train up in the northeast?
  • Who has the record for the most cities in one day?

  16. Hey Clare,
I remember meeting you on interview day at BM! I stumbled across your blog when I was googling BM, and was thinking how weird it was that there were two Notre dame alums on my interview day also… then I recognized you from your pic, lol. Anyways, although it was brief, it was great meeting you!
