A few weeks ago I went to my InstaStories to ask for your recommendations on at home workout options. I didn’t have enough time to go to the gym and just wanted to do a little something in my living room. Now that I’m traveling over this holiday break, I’m finding myself in that situation a lot more!
A few of you messaged me privately to ask what people told me, and I promised I’d share them. I figured this could be a time a lot of other people need some good at home workout options too, so today I’m listing the recommendations you all gave me!
(pin this so you have the list at your fingertips!)
Best At-Home Workout Options
Winter Shape Up videos on Youtube from Fitnessista
Gina puts on a Winter Shape Up program each year, and lots of the old videos are on her YouTube channel! She also just has tons of other workout options there, so it’s a great place to check out!
This one was new to me, but her youtube channel is pretty amazing! She has a some formal buy-in programs, but lots of free options if you look around.
Tons of options, lots of different time lengths, and separated by difficulty!
Julie has a million different workout options! You can find almost anything you’re looking for – cardio, strength, more intense, a little easier. And they always have cute Pinterest graphics, too 😉
This free app is so great! You specify the length, type, and difficulty of the workout you want, and it takes you through it with video descriptions of each move to guide you. I used to do these all the time when I lived in Charlottesville, and should get back to it!
I’ve done a number of her videos and highly approve. She has so many options, down to very specific “yoga for digestion” videos. I have mostly done more standard vinyasa and think they offer unique flows and a great mix of calming and challenging.
I’ve been loving Jen’s workouts lately! She has so much variety, and a specific “at-home” section on her blog. It’s another one made with fun Pinterest graphics!
This is my old yoga studio in Louisville that I absolutely adored. They started recording some of their classes to put on a podcast, and it’s amazing! It’s obviously not the same as being in the sweaty community-filled room, but at least I can get the same awesome instructors.
Lauren is just the most endlessly positive person! She has great workouts with a whole home section. I have purchased one of her programs before, too. I have never done the whole program as designed, but I like having them as options!
I’m not a huge fan of the name of her popular workout program, but she does have some kick-butt, sweaty options!
Sometimes when I just don’t feel like looking through all these, I just google image search what I’m looking for and a zillion options come up. The internet is a wonderful place!
Hope this gives you some good ideas. Share your other favorites in the comments!!
