Giving Beautycounter gifts this holiday is making me so excited! There are so many different options, each purchase makes a bigger impact, plus it's the exact type of gift I love giving -- something fun and fancy that lots of people wouldn't think to buy themselves. I'm sharing gift ideas at a variety of price points. You can also mix and match these to fit any type of gift you need. Lots of these options are from the special edition holiday line, so most of it will go away when the . . .
I've got two weeks work to catch you up on today! I'm on a flight right now - off to Hilton Head for a long weekend reunion with my best girlfriends from college. My original plane had some mechanical issues and I ended up having to rebook, so the day's plans are slightly off and I'm missing spending the day in Savannah! Instead of making the day a total waste, I decided to buy the airline internet and get some work done. Here is my weekly recap! Outfits Just one this week! And won't be . . .
Hi from Philly! I flew in with my parents last night (which was so weird - hadn't travelled with my parents since high school!) and my brothers and sister-in-law had arrived earlier in the day. It's the first time we're all together since my little brother's wedding in May! I can't wait to see one of my oldest and best friends get married, and of course to dance the night away with other friends I haven't seen in forever. Hope you all have a fun weekend planned - maybe some good Fall . . .
Most of you probably know that I am now a Beautycounter consultant, but I haven't shared much about my feelings about the role and the company. Selling things generally makes me feel icky. I've said no to a million requests to enroll with different fitness, skincare, clothing companies over the years. Even when I worked in advertising in my former life, the idea that I was asking people to buy things didn't make me feel good. Having some sort of online business is all the (often obnoxious) rage . . .
Happy Friday! This is actually a weird week for my Internal Medicine team because our call day falls tomorrow. Each team is on call every five days, and since we are on call on Saturday that means we have to work post-call on Sunday. As students we usually work Saturday and have Sunday off, but not this time! I actually already had tickets booked to a wedding in Seattle, so I got permission to miss work on Sunday and make it up on a later day that I would have had off. So I'll leave for . . .
I don't normally post specifically about Beautycounter, but I had to share that the 5 Minute Face finally released today! I had been wanting to get nearly everything in this set, and when If found out they were bundling it up I knew I had to wait. But now it's HERE and I am so pumped! Five Minute Face The 5 Minute Face includes the six essentials for a quick, fresh-faced look: Tint Skin -- Best seller! Concealer pen Eyebrow pencil -- filling in my eyebrows has quickly become . . .
Hi from Indianapolis! I just drove up from a day with Brittany in Louisville, and this weekend is all bout celebrating my best friend LB's 30th! I'm excited for lots of yoga, paddle boarding, girl talk and wine. I wanted to share a few things quickly with you today: 1 - Pound My first article for STLMag.com is up! I'll be occasionally contributing to their health column, and for this first one I tried out a POUND class. It's a choreographed workout using drum sticks that you bang around. . . .
Y'all know I'm not going to talk something up for no reason. I gave you an honest review of Rodan & Fields (and am about to start the lightening regimen to see if a bigger difference is made) and wouldn't tell you something was great if it wasn't. So you can trust me when I tell you I am really, really into Beautycounter. I watched Teri rave about Dew Skin for months (have you seen her skin!?) before I decided to try it out. My skin is pretty good, but I am approaching 30 and trying . . .
