Happy Friday! Life is all studying, all the time over here. I think we've all officially hit crunch time for our boards exam in April, and balancing fun with studying is the new challenge. We all know we have to keep our sanity, but how much time can we afford to take off? I'm really working on saying no more -- to things like subbing yoga classes, babysitting, etc. I enjoy those things and in the past my flexible schedule has allowed them, but right now I need to devote any time I have to . . .
Hi from the big midwest ice storm! Everything is closed today, including SLU! It's just now starting to ice and they are predicting half to an inch of ice today and tomorrow, so we are hunkered down at home. That means a four day weekend for us, which in med school terms = four whole days off to study! How's the weather where you are? I didn't get around to posting last Friday, so today I have a big list of Friday Favorites! Wanderer Bracelets These bracelets are hand carved by . . .
It's Friday, I'm finished with classes for the semester, and have a weekend full of celebrations to look forward to -- life is good! Our GI final was today, so I'm now off until January 2nd. My little brother and his fiancé come in town tonight and this weekend we have an engagement party for them, my mom's birthday, and a little early gift exchange since they will be with her family on Christmas. Roomie Christmas picture I'm making a quick trip to Indianapolis and Louisville next week . . .
Hi and Happy Friday! Did this week fly for anyone else? Maybe it's because so much of its was errands and catching up on stuff post-Thanksgiving break. Also probably because we don't have a test for a few weeks, so things were not too stressful on the school end for me. We put up Christmas decorations in our house and are getting in the holiday spirit! This weekend I'm babysitting, taking my fav 90 minute yoga class, have a study date with a friend and have a boxing workout class with . . .
It's been a hard week for a lot of people. I've been pretty distracted and had a hard time focusing on my work. There has been lots of healthy discussion in my life, luckily, and I think we need to keep promoting that. Now more than ever, regardless of your views, we need to send our love, compassion, and understanding into the world. Here are my favorites this Friday! Seattle! I'm in Seattle right now for an AAMC conference!! I've never bene before, and the flight in was so gorgeous. . . .
Hey everyone! Happy Friday! This week was another study-filled one since we had another test today. Then again, every week is a study week. I did get some time for fun though! My roommate treated me to a pedicure as a birthday gift, and yesterday we went to a sample sale for The Normal Brand. My friend Jimmy started this St. Louis based clothing company and it has totally taken off. The materials are so stretchy and comfortable, and I love the tag line, "Embrace Life In The Middle." . . .
Happy Happy Friday!! It's a gorgeous day here, I just finished my Respiratory final exam, and life is good! Most of this week was spent studying, but this weekend I should get a little time off to relax. I'm teaching yoga tonight then hanging with friends, tomorrow is college football and babysitting, and Sunday will probably be a little laid back, catch-up on life day. What do you have planned? Here are my favorites this Friday! 90s Music I don't know why, but I've been all about . . .
Happy Friday!! How was your week?? Mine was pretty busy with events every night. That makes it fly by, but means I didn't have enough time to study! This weekend will be ALL about the studying - our respiratory final is next Friday. Last night I got to go to the Cardinals game with some friends. It might be the last game I see this season - the wild card race is looking kinda iffy for us! But it was an exciting walk-off win and a great night with friends. Here are my Friday Favorites . . .
Happy Friday everyone!! This past week has been study central, but also a lot of fun! Living with awesome roommates just makes every day a little brighter. Even when I have to be studying, I get little breaks for laughter and walks and puppy cuddles. I have a Respiratory exam this morning, then I'm hopping in the car with my brother and his friend to drive up to Notre Dame! I used to go up to so many football games when I worked a regular schedule, but now that I'm in school I usually . . .
Happy Friday!! It's a rainy one here so I'm lounging with some coffee and writing this blog post before I go up to my desk for the day. I have lots of studying to get in before my last weekend of yoga teacher training starts tonight! These weekends, while always amazing, are pretty stressful now that school has started. But as of Sunday I will be a certified yoga teacher and I can't wait!!! Do you have fun plans for the weekend? I hope so! This low fodmap quinoa casserole recipe. I . . .
