Sharing my first day on a new pediatric team, a fun surprise from my mom, the necessary nap that kept me from the gym, and the BEST winter salad recipe!! ____________________________________ Hey friends! Just popping in to say hi and share a little about my day. It's freezing here - hope you are staying warm wherever you are! A New Team It was my first day on a new pediatric team. I joined the "green" team, which sees renal and GI patients. This is brand new, actually! Normally renal and GI . . .
I mentioned in my "last week's workouts and meals" post that my stomach was starting to get a little upset again due to my more relaxed eating habits (cough beer and chocolate and pizza all the time cough.) Eating "well" for me is a little different than for others because it's more about eating in a way that helps my digestion as opposed to eating foods that I think are super nutritious or the "right" things to eat. I've found that low-fodmap really works best for me, though I can tolerate some . . .
So last week I told you I was going to show you more full days of meals, and I have done that a total of ZERO times since then. Blogger fail. But in my defense, I was out of town at HLS! And soon I'm going to be out of town again. I'll try to start when I get back. Until then, here's another What I Ate Wednesday post thanks to Jenn of Peas and Crayons. Breakfast, 8:45am: I'm still experimenting with more breakfast ideas (oatless oats was a success!) and this one was a total winner too. . . .
