Happy SNOWY Saturday from St. Louis!! I knew there was a chance of snow, but I never really trust the weather man. It was quite a surprise to wake up to a blanket of white outside this morning, but kind of fun! We haven't gotten a big snow yet this year, which is just fine with me. With our luck it'll probably come in April or something. I stay in last night and got some studying done before watching the Men's Figure Skating. This morning I made Oats In A Jar (throwback!) and am going to . . .
It's the weekend, and I have BOTH days off for the first time in a month! I shouldn't get used to this considering the career I'm going into, but right now it feels like such a treat. I had a really great week on Newborn Nursery. It was very relaxed compared to my inpatient pediatrics, and getting to be with brand new babies all day is such a joy! I have a high school friend's big 30th birthday party Saturday night, and I suppose I'll end up doing something for the Super Bowl party even . . .
Hey friends! I took a little break from posting while I was studying for my OBGYN final this past week. (For all of you that ask how I "do it all" -- I don't!! My side gigs like this blog are set aside when I have a lot of school to focus on. I'm going to write a bigger post on balancing all of this over break.) But now that that test is over I am FREE for two whole weeks! I'm catching up on SO much life outside of school and my to-do list is a mile long. I'll be busy with all of that until I . . .
Happy Saturday!! I'm getting this post done while I wait for my boyfriend to wake up. He's here this weekend, which is such a treat!! It's been a month since since I've seen him because we both have a million things going on - way too long! My OBGYN final is on Friday so I have to study this weekend, but at least I get to study next to him. (This quote is getting me through right now!) Here's my weekly recap! Outfits: Scrubs and workout clothes, that's about it! Last night I . . .
Hey everyone! I haven't done a weekly recap for a few weeks, so we have a little to catch up on! I'm finally home with no travel for a while, so having my weekends to actually get work done is nice. I stayed in last night to study and work on blog/Beautycounter stuff. Today I am going to be working and then babysitting. And tomorrow I have weekend call on Labor & Delivery. Should be a productive weekend! Here's my (overdue) weekly recap! Outfits Friendsgiving outfit: Top (similar, . . .
Happy Saturday!! I'm writing to you from my couch. I have a big blanket, a candle lit, and college football in the background. A perfect Saturday!! This past week was a strange one due to working the night shift, and I'm currently attempting to regain a normal sleeps schedule. It hasn't been easy (I was awake in the middle of the night last night) but I'm hoping another day is all it takes. My roommate has been so good about forcing me to wake up even when I don't want to! I'm about to . . .
Hey friends! Sorry for the delay in this post - the week was pretty busy and then I was in Chicago for a friend's wedding this past weekend. I started Labor & Delivery last week and the evenings were spent getting Beautycounter samples organized and sent. (If you requested some you should be getting them soon! And if you want to get in on the samples in the future, join the Facebook group!)) Now that that's finished, the next five weeks can be all about studying / project / blogging when . . .
Hello from Boston!! I'm here for the annual AAMC conference (explained more in this instagram post) and it's going really well so far. Yesterday's sessions and discussions were really productive, we've had great talks with the deans of our medical school, and I'm meeting amazing people. This is the tail end of 11 day trip for me - the longest I've been away for years! It worked out perfectly that I was on my two week elective from school at this time. I was able to manage all the . . .
I've got two weeks work to catch you up on today! I'm on a flight right now - off to Hilton Head for a long weekend reunion with my best girlfriends from college. My original plane had some mechanical issues and I ended up having to rebook, so the day's plans are slightly off and I'm missing spending the day in Savannah! Instead of making the day a total waste, I decided to buy the airline internet and get some work done. Here is my weekly recap! Outfits Just one this week! And won't be . . .
Hi from Philly! I flew in with my parents last night (which was so weird - hadn't travelled with my parents since high school!) and my brothers and sister-in-law had arrived earlier in the day. It's the first time we're all together since my little brother's wedding in May! I can't wait to see one of my oldest and best friends get married, and of course to dance the night away with other friends I haven't seen in forever. Hope you all have a fun weekend planned - maybe some good Fall . . .
