I went to my first St. Louis Bloggers event!
I had my own little St. Louis Blogger get together almost two years ago before I moved to Dallas, and there were 5 of us. Today the group has over 80 members. GO STL GO!
(St. Louis FitFluential Ambassadors!)
Here’s some of the group (I know I’m going to forget people!!): Mom’s Little Running Buddy, Journey of a Dreamer, ItzLinz, Style Every Day, Eat Run Live Happy, The Jenny Pincher
I was actually running a little late due to making (and sampling!) these cookies at the last minute. Very peanut buttery. Hunks of chocolate help. Great protein content. WIN.

But it was no big deal! I arrived to Ces and Judy’s a little before seven to find tons of fun friends chatting around the tables. We had less show up than expected, so we pushed the tables together and all introduced ourselves.
Ces and Judy’s is a 30 year old catering company in St. Louis that just went through a major rebranding. I was blown away by their website – I mean does this scream catering company to you? It’s so cute!!

The marketing manager, Jenna, set up an awesome dinner for us and even made menu cards.

Jenna introduced the company to us and explained a little about their services before we dug in. Ces and Judy’s does catering in home or at other venues, but also has two beautiful event spaces on site at Le Chateau in Clayton. We ate in the “round room”, which holds 80 and has a lofted space and a fireplace. The other ballroom holds 250 and has a dance floor perfect for weddings.

They do a lot of receptions, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, birthdays, and corporate parties. And they do it well! (I had actually been to a Notre Dame Club event in the round room before.)
The dinner was buffet style and of course we all had to take pictures before actually getting our food. Such self control.

Then we made our plates!

It was ALL delicious, but I could not get enough of the caramelized onions in the green beans! And I think I liked the beef even more than the chicken! People were definitely getting up for seconds.
Ces and Judy’s provided a mini dessert plate and coffee, but a few bloggers brought wine so we could “pour ourselves a glass!”

And then we talked talked talked like only blog friends can do. Pictures, videos, blog talk, hilarious PR-pitches we’ve gotten talk, and more. So fun to meet these ladies! Some I felt like I knew already, and others weren’t weren’t health and fitness bloggers and so were new to me.

THANK YOU Ces and Judy’s for a great night! We were so thrilled for a beautiful space to catch up and eat great food, instead of having to fight over the noise in a crowded restaurant.
Dazzling & Delicious!
