Friday. Did this week fly for anyone else? I’ll take it though – I get to go see P today! Here we go:
Five Things I Ate
1. My go-to breakfast as of late: oats with flax and egg whites topped with MaraNatha crunchy almond butter
2. I had the same thing for lunch every day…
3. This AWESOME snack – sweet potato and Greek yogurt mixed with stevia and cocoa powder
4. Garam Masala Chickpeas – dinner on Wednesday and the leftovers for dinner Thursday! I really liked it!
5. Think Thin bars – I had them for snacks a few days and a chocolate after dinner Thursday night. I love the chocolate and peanut butter flavors, and even white chocolate which is not usually one of my favs!
Wed: 30 min elliptical and Best Body Bootcamp strength B
Thurs: 45 min spin class
Fri: Plan on a quick run and Best Body Bootcamp strength A

Five Things Making Me Happy
Seeing P!! Like I said in my LDR post, it’s tough to be in a military relationship because their schedules change at the drop of a hat. Well, P ended up coming home early from an assignment which means I can go see him this weekend! We bought the flights (with Southwest points so it’s pretty much free, right? ) on Wednesday and off I go to Texas today. Not exactly a “cool travel spot” to mark off on our map, but at least we’re together.
Girls On The Run. I had coaches training on Sunday, and it made me SO excited. I really didn’t know how each lesson went, but now that I’ve gotten a feel for the different topics taught and activities done, I CANNOT wait. It is such a positive atmosphere.
Making my Treadmill Desk. I haven’t even used it since I made it, but I still have this stupid smug feeling because I actually managed to build something. I told my dad he should use it too with his Ipad, but he didn’t seem all the interested.
Spin class. I’m having a weird love affair with spinning right now.
My parents. I wasn’t sure how living at home would be. I adore my parents, but we can definitely get irritated with each other. I was concerned that living at home might bring that out, but instead it’s been wonderful! I should probably knock on wood, but I’ve been helping them out a bunch and it’s been really fun having them around to chat and hang out with.
Your Turn! What’s making you happy this week?
