Finales

Things end today. Let’s discuss:

My Body Doesn’t Make Me Beautiful

1. It’s the last day of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, and also the last day of the My Body Doesn’t Make Me Beautiful challenge.

I admit that I caught myself judging other women this week, and had one little “I feel bad about myself” period on Wednesday night. Incredible how much it affects day to day life! While the challenge is officially over, I’m going to try to keep this up.

  • How did the challenge go for you? Did you notice anything?

Flexible February

1. It’s the last day of Flexible February! Yes it is March, but to make the challenge a full four weeks we extended to this Saturday. That means there are prizes to be awarded!! The week 4 winners of the NuNaturals and Champion Sports Bra have been announced on the Challenge Loop page, as well as the two grand prize winners.

One more shout out to the AWESOME sponsors:

NuNaturals
Champion
Chobani

Flexible February was a great re-focus for me – I tried a whole bunch of new yoga classes which was really fun! I definitely paid attention to daily stretching more at the beginning of the month, so I’d like to get back to that. Especially as I start running more.

In other news, I really wanted to run outside this morning but then I realized it was 25 and snowing. I also am kind of kicking myself for not going to Spinning Instructor Training at my gym, but I know that I won’t be able to focus on teaching in the coming years so I wouldn’t get must use out of it.

Instead I ran four miles at the gym, got Chick Fil A with my dad, did some school work, and then spoiled myself with a Groupon for a massage and facial. Not the best I’ve ever had, but probably the cheapest.

That is all. Happy Saturday!

Comments

  1. I was just in STL today!

  2. Y’know, I really wanted to run today but after digesting my breakfast, I was EASILY able to talk myself out of my 7 mile run. I AM going to do it tomorrow, but I’ve got a bad case of psyching myself out right now that I need to get a hold of. The cold doesn’t scare me so much (I’ve run two races this year with the temp in the TEENS) but my own mind can prevent me from going out.

  3. Hi Clare, are you planning on doing a recap on your intuitive eating 21 day challenge? I’m really curious about it and would love to hear your thoughts.
