Happy Happy Friday!
How was your week? Mine was a whirlwind. I was way over-scheduled this week (note to self: stop doing that!) and felt myself wishing I had more time to sit down and study. But it was a good one, nonetheless.
This weekend is my second to last yoga teacher training weekend. It’s not the best time, considering I have a ton of work to do for a test next week, but I knew going into it that it would be a little rough for the two final weekends I have while I’m in school. I’ll just be really efficient with my studying and try to get lots done at night.
Hope you all have a fun weekend planned! Here are my favorites this Friday!
Sovereign Light Cafe by Keane and She Is by Lady Antebellum.
These songs are part of my yoga playlist that I shared on Wednesday, and I’m a little obsessed right now. Playing them on repeat!
I discovered these through blogging years and years ago, and have made them ever since! I made a batch last weekend for a sweet treat after meals, and aside from the few my roommates ate, they’re gone. Those things are dangerous!
Maevn Uniforms asked if they could send me some scrubs to try, and I love them!! I don’t have much reason to wear scrubs at the moment, but wore them every day last year during anatomy. Let me tell you – these are SO much better than the standard big-sack-of-fabric scrubs out there!! They’re cut for women and their Eon Line (which they sent me) even has sweat wicking technology and some mesh incorporated for breathability.
I’ll have to wear the hospital-provided scrubs when I’m on rotations, but I’m definitely keeping these around for any volunteering or practice work I do. Or just for lounging in because scrubs are so dang comfortable.
(Gus loves them too)
Thank you, Maevn!!
That aren’t spandex! I’m glad to be getting more use of my closet now that school is back in session! It’s not cool enough yet to wear a cardigan regularly, but the classrooms at school are really chilly. Every day involves some sort of sweater or jacket.
I only had a really thick robe that I wore all the time, so I decided to get a lighter weight one for the warmer weather. I loooove this one. I wish it stayed put a little better – I have to re-tie it occasionally – but it’s so comfy and I love the print.
A few of the big things we’ve learned this week include…
- How to read and interpret normal and abnormal ECGs. Lots to work on here!
- A million different anti-arrhythmatic drugs. Memorization central .
- Vascular disease
- How to listen to heart sounds!
Have a great weekend guys!!
