Yesterday was my white coat ceremony, and today starts orientation!
I wasn’t really feeling the “orientation, meet hundred of new people and do ‘fun’ activities” vibe until I got to the Church and saw my whole class. I met so many fun people already and am excited to get to know them!
The ceremony was in St. Francis Xavier “College Church” which is gorgeous, and it was really special that my parents got to “cloak” me since they are both physicians. I think it’s hilarious that they call it “cloaking.” I felt like I should be sorted next.
Last night we went out to dinner for my aunt’s birthday. Then my mom and I took matching pictures at home and planned how she would manage to take yet another “first day of school” picture for me next Monday.
Off to bed — tomorrow starts a big week!
