Welcome to my list of of perfect gifts for students, with a special section just for medical students!
Hey friends!! Sorry for the mixup with the premature post yesterday. I had scheduled it in hopes to get it up, but life and school got in the way. I just finally finished my schoolwork for today’s lectures, so now I’ll get going on it!
Students are a fun group to gift because they are often short on cash, so little indulgences are a really big treat! There are gifts to go with studying, caffeinating, and organizing, too! I hope you enjoy it!!
As always, there are some affiliate links used, but everything are gifts I truly think would be loved!
An Exhaustive List of Perfect Gifts for Students
Comfy sweats, like these top rated “Dreamy” sweats and this seamless hoodie, or the best ever Scuba hoodies. (PS – guys obsess over these Lulu sweats. Expensive, but seriously, multiple guy friends have raved.)
And maybe include these insanely cute and comfy socks, for the long winter hours spent studying at home.
Coffee is always necessary. A Starbucks gift card and a cute travel mug (this one from anthropologie is gorgeous)! are always useful and appreciated.
A water bottle that keeps their drinks cold through long class hours. The Yeti water bottle (or mug) is the popular one these days, but I love my Swell. They come in a million different cute prints (like the new Lilly Pulitzer + Swell partnership with Starbucks!)
A great school bag – either a tote or a backpack, depending on what they use. For totes, the Madewell Transport Tote is can’t-go-wrong fan favorite. I also love all things Tory Burch and Kate Spade. As for backpacks, this one is inexpensive and way cuter than normal backpacks, and Herschels are really popular.
This keyboard cover will keep study snack crumbs out, and maybe make them think they’re at the beach!
Noise cancelling headphones make a very nice, useful gift that most students wouldn’t pay for themselves.
Unless you know one of the rare females that doesn’t like being pampered, a gift card to their favorite spa will be absolutely adored. Being able to get a pedicure or massage is such a treat! Or you can always go the at-home route and gift a shimmer and shine set for skin, or a spa set with a face oil, mist, and mask.
Class Pass or a gift card to their favorite workout studio is a great gift for a student on a budget!
For Medical Students
An iPad Mini is also really helpful to have on hand to you can look things up on the internet or get into in the EMR while you’re on rounds!
As silly as it sounds, those old school multicolor pens are GREAT for taking notes while on service! Any type works, but I love that this one has a stylus!
Cute ID badge reel covers are always fun!!
A nice stethoscope is a GREAT gift for a pre-med or new med student! (Littman is considered top of the line!)
