Hello from Boston!!
I’m here for the annual AAMC conference (explained more in this instagram post) and it’s going really well so far. Yesterday’s sessions and discussions were really productive, we’ve had great talks with the deans of our medical school, and I’m meeting amazing people.
This is the tail end of 11 day trip for me – the longest I’ve been away for years! It worked out perfectly that I was on my two week elective from school at this time. I was able to manage all the travel while working on a project remotely. But when I get home it’s diving right into labor and delivery. I’m excited!!
Here’s the weekly Recap
Long sleeved fleeced lined (!!) black dress (similar) || Necklace || Mint winter coat (LOVE!) and they have lots of new colors – my roommate just bought the camel || Lipstick is “Brunch” from the Holiday Set
I’ve also worn this gorgeous cold shoulder top (sold out but you can find it on poshmark), my favorite crepe work pants, and been living in a long cardigan like this one over leggings on the planes!
A few highlights of my travel food….
Leftover Chinese food from my boyfriend’s refrigerator
Homemade mac & cheese (YUM) + chili with his family on Long Beach Island
A delicious crab cake while out to dinner on LBI
Pasta from Becco on my birthday date night!
A huge veggie filled wrap from Pita Pit when nutrients were feeing very very necessary
Mon – Off
Tues – bike ride around Long Beach Island
Wed – Sprints + lifting circuits
Thurs – yoga at Real Hot Yoga
Fri – Off – conferencing!
I’m finishing up my two week elective period and still working on my eating disorder project. Right now I’m at the AAMC conference with med students from all over the country, plus basically all the deans and med school staff from every school in the country. We discuss the most important issues in medical education, share best practices and cool advancements, and just network and learn like crazy. It’s so amazing!!
When I get back I start my OBGYN clerkship. I have two weeks of labor and delivery, two weeks of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and then two weeks of Gyn Surgery. Then it’s Christmas (WHAT?!)

I finally ordered a new big round brush. I totally forget to do things like that, and my old one was allll messed up. Getting a new one totally changed the way my hair looks after being blow dried – so smooth now! High recommend this one if you need to smooth out some kinky curls.
Have a great rest of your weekend!!
