It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared some of my favorites with you all. Here’s what I’m loving lately…
This Target Dress. One of my friends wore it a few weeks ago (Hi Kavisha!) and I told her I was going to go get it. I don’t have anything like it, and I can’t resist a green dress.
Sardella. We ate there on Father’s Day and it was phenomenal, as expected with a Gerard Craft restaurant. It’s Italian with very modern and creative twists (burrata with salsa verde, white anchovy and toast!) and designed to be family style. We got 4 appetizers, a pasta, and the steak and each dish was more interesting and flavorful than the next. Highly recommended for St. Louis locals!
Vega Ready To Drink Protein Shakes. I love all things Vega, especially adding their Vega One to my smoothies, so was super excited when they came out with ready to drink shakes! The vanilla is actually a little too sweet for me (unheard of?!) but the chocolate is delicious. I wish they were a little more substantial so they’d fill me up as a meal, but I still love them for quick snacks and as a way to get in an extra does of greens, vitamins and minerals.
More Beauty Counter! I’m still wearing the DewSkin every day (shade 2) and love that it gives just a little teeny bit of extra coverage and brightness to my skin without looking like heavy makeup. Plus it has some sun protection which is always nice! I recently got one of the LipSheers, too, after trying out another bridesmaid’s at my little brother’s wedding. The Terra shade is subtle and great for every day, and it feels like a dream going on. So light!
Teri sent me some of the Radiance Serum that I cannot wait to try out, and I’m also dying to get my hands on some of the Cleansing Balm she raves about. Apparently there is a good promo on it right now so talk to Teri if you want more info on that.
Modern Map Art. Jennifer offered to send me one of her St. Louis prints and it’s so fun! It’s hanging in the office right now (and covering up some paint splotches on the wall.) She makes these for tons of cities and countries, and I think they’d make great gifts. If you want to check them out, you can use my referral link! (I will get 15% for each purchase, but the price is the same for you. Thanks for your support!)
My Grandma’s ring. I remember this ring from when I was little, but I didn’t like it so I left it in my jewelry box at my parents’ house. I just found it recently and I can’t stop wearing it! I love having a little piece of my grandma with me and I need to find out the story behind it. It’s so unique.
Wedding Cake! My little brother and his wife didn’t want to save the top tier of their cake, so they left it in St. Louis and we got to snack on it for the next few days. It was made at Cravings Bakery and it was SO freaking good. The top tier was a lemon flavor.
Peds Neurology. I’m loving this rotation. We have seen lots of really interesting cases like rare genetic conditions, gunshot wounds, and congenital brain malformations, which is really sad to see but makes for great learning and practice. The residents and attending physicians are so nice, and it has been a really welcoming and low stress environment. It’s definitely making me consider pediatricss more and more!
This Tex Mex Turkey Skillet for dinners all week. I made it with ground turkey instead and eat it over rice and spinach, topped with tons of avocado.
This eyebrow pencil has become a must have in my morning routine. I just ordered another.
This work dress has the prettiest top! Waiting for a sale.
Love the mixed stripes on this sundress.
This scalloped tote looks way more expensive than it is, and would make an adorable work bag!
Have a great week!
